Dear colleague,
We're getting close to the early bird deadline, 13
February, for the fifth edition of Revolutionizing Next-Generation Sequencing which will take place on 27-28 March 2023 in picturesque Ghent, Belgium. The impact of having this meeting cannot be underestimated. It offers established experts the opportunity to present their latest work and consolidate collaborations. In addition young biotech enthusiasts have the opportunity to learn from the experts and immerse themselves in the wide variety of topics that will be discussed. So mark your calendars as RNGS is a landmark VIB conference that should not be missed. For this 5th edition, we’ve collected 30 leading scientists and industry leaders, who will present their latest insights in 6 thought-provoking sessions. These include: Emerging sequencing platforms, new applications of long-read sequencing technologies, computational genomics & data analysis, outbreak sequencing & population-scale, single-cell sequencing, and spatial technologies. Register early and (re)connect to this ever-growing community of experts.

Social activities
On Monday 27 March there will
be a networking reception for all attendees at the conference venue. After the reception, you can join the guided tour through the beautiful Ghent center to the conference dinner at restaurant VOLTA. As always this is the ideal moment to connect with your fellow researchers with some great food. Tickets for the dinner are sold separately on the conference website.
If you want to get to know the host city Ghent, you can find some good reasons to visit this "cultural cocktail on a human scale" here.
